Manchester’s Bookmobile kicks off on July 9!

The Manchester School District, in partnership with the Manchester City Library, will run a bookmobile beginning on Monday, July 9. All Manchester children are welcome to attend any scheduled stop.

Any child who attends a session with the bookmobile will be given a book to take home. Free food will also be available during every stop.

There will be two sessions every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from July 9 through August 10.


10:30 a.m. – noon: Livingston Park (156 Hooksett Road)
1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Elmwood Gardens (85 Trahan Street)


10:30 a.m. – noon: YMCA (Stark Street, between YMCA and City Hall)
1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Steven’s Park at Manchester Cal Ripken Baseball (313 Tarrytown Road)


10:30 a.m. – noon: Beech Street School (333 Beech Street)
1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Kelley Falls (315 Kimball Street)

The bookmobile will be staffed by Manchester School District educators, city librarians, and other community leaders and volunteers. The team will organize read-a-louds and activities for each session.
