CITIZENS’ TOWN HALL ON EDUCATION

On Thursday, October 19th, Reaching Higher New Hampshire will host a citizens’ town hall on education for the Jackson area. The event will be held at the Whitney Community Center from 6:30-8 p.m.
What we’ll talk about:
- State Education legislation (what has happened in Concord so far and what is still pending)
- Current and upcoming issues at the State Board of Education and Department of Education
- Current issues at the federal level
- Resources and tools for the public
The purpose of the event is to update the public on education-related news and events that have been happening at the state and federal levels and then hold an open Q&A. This is an open, nonpartisan event and there is no need to RSVP in advance (there is a seating limit of 100). If you have any questions, please email Dan at dan@reachinghighernh.org.
