The Maine Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Talent Search (MMSETS) Program is offering a seven-round Problem Solving Program for students in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
The registration deadline for the program is September 1, 2017.
Each month, students receive a set of math problems from MMSETS. The focus of the problem sets and math contest is to give students more exposure to math concepts while allowing them to collaborate and work together to solve problems.
The concepts of the program are similar to the Hungarian KoMal program and the USA Mathematical Talent Search.

Over the years MMSETS has helped a number of children nurture an interest and understanding in math, problem-solving, engineering, and programming. MMSETS alumni have gone onto attend universities like MIT and Princeton and hold jobs at companies like Google, Microsoft, and HP.
