Reaching Higher NH welcomes our new Director of NH’s Alliance for College & Career Readiness, Jessica Rodriguez

Reaching Higher NH is pleased to announce the newest member of our team, Jessica Rodriguez. Jessica will serve as the Director of NH’s Alliance for College and Career Readiness. She brings deep expertise in K-16 policy and strategic programmatic experience to the role.

Jessica launched her career in education in 2008 and has held positions at the World Bank, the District of Columbia State Education Agency, and most recently UnidosUS (formerly the National Council of La Raza), the largest national civil rights organization for Latinos. There, Jessica conceptualized and led national and state-based initiatives on key education policies in nine states reaching over 6,000 families.

She is the co-author of the 2015 book chapter “Inside the Classroom in Latin America and the Caribbean“, based on her field research in seven countries, and has facilitated cross-national knowledge-sharing convenings with high ranking officials and policymakers.

Jessica earned a Master of Arts in International Education Administration and Policy Analysis from Stanford University. Before that, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Chicago.

Jessica is thrilled to bring her experience to New Hampshire, where she and her husband, a native Granite Stater, have recently resettled their family. She looks forward to building partnerships, locally and statewide, to develop a common college and career readiness policy agenda to improve outcomes for all New Hampshire students.

Please extend a warm welcome to Jessica. We are thrilled to have her join the Reaching Higher NH team!
