These professional development opportunities are appropriate for administrators, classroom teachers, special education teachers, and reading and writing specialists.

This webinar will focus on the topic of dyslexia, as well as provide an in-depth, comprehensive training about screening tools for K-3, procedures for progress monitoring, preparing a support plan, and parent communication when a child is selected for intervention.

Evidence-Based Strategies and Interventions
Wednesday, May 31st, 4:00-5:00 p.m.
This webinar will provide an overview of the key components of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for core reading instruction for students in K-3, as well as components of evidence-based interventions for Tier II and Tier III. Additionally, the webinar will review example models for evaluating and implementing interventions.

Three-hour workshops will be held regionally throughout the state in June. In an effort to allow participants to attend this professional development opportunity during the most convenient time, each workshop location will offer a morning session, from 8:30-11:30, and an afternoon session, from 12:30-3:30. The workshops will provide attendees the opportunity to gain more content, based upon prior webinars, and interact with the presenters and other participants. Registration for each session will begin 30 minutes before the start time.
