Reaching Higher NH is a new nonprofit organization, soon to be launched publicly, to support our public schools and high standards that give ALL New Hampshire children the opportunity to prepare for college, immediate careers and the challenges and opportunities of life in 21st Century New Hampshire. Here is our mission statement.
We are bringing together voices – businesses, teachers, parents, community members and civic organizations – from every region of New Hampshire to convey our shared vision for New Hampshire public education.
Our schools have made great progress in recent years. We are a national leader in student achievement, in personalizing learning for every student, in reducing reliance on standardized tests, and in providing a supportive environment for teachers. And New Hampshire is a leader in setting high standards for our students.
But there continues to be pushback against the progress New Hampshire public schools are making. Your voice is important in conveying a vision for New Hampshire’s public schools based on high standards and personalized learning for each student.
